In July 2008, Rivervale Church of
Christ had the privilege to be able to purchase a Café. The café was formerly called K’s Café, and has been renamed "FuelUp Café."
Rivervale
church of Christ is excited to be partnering with the
City
of Belmont in this and other ventures where helping the
community is a priority. Through this partnership, FuelUp Café will be
training people so that they may be able to enter the work force with
a certificate in food preparation.
The other highlight of this
program is that all profits will go back into the local community
through things like employing Community Workers, and funding new
dynamic community programs and projects.
So next time when you are in the City of Belmont, make sure you drop
into FuelUp Café and know that not only will you experience great food
and friendly service, and that you will also be supporting the local
community.
