Rivervale Church of Christ - Annual General Meeting will be held at the church following the service on Sunday 19th October. Meeting to commence at 11am. Please stay and share together in lunch following the meeting. ANNUAL REPORTS available from the Office. |
Samaritan’s Purse - Christmas Shoe Box Appeal is fast approaching. Please start preparing your boxes now! Samaritan’s Purse have advised that this year there will be no “Infants” category. Year 2-4 will be the youngest. Lollies are no longer to be included in the boxes. Anyone able to help provide balls, soap or flannels to complete a large number of boxes already underway please speak to Marion or Tim D’arcy or drop them at the church. More information available soon. |

dignitaries present. |

| Garden Mulch - A quantity of mulch has been donated to the church again this year. It is located in the large car park and it can be YOURS for just $5 per trailer load! Please let your friends and family know - available any time. | |

We no longer tape our service on Sunday, but now our Sunday Messages are recorded on CD. We now have a facility that can duplicate CDs within minutes of the end of the last song. If you want a copy, go to the sound desk at the conclusion of the service and you can purchase your copies to take home.
CDs will cost $2.00*, plus .50c for a plastic disc holder if required. Copies of previous messages are also available on CD upon request. (*All Sunday School & Crèche staff are entitled to a FREE copy of the message for that day - be sure to collect your disc - holders are .50c if required.) |

Note to ALL at RIV re. facility usage - Many people and groups are using the facilities and equipment on the Church premises, including other churches for baptisms, weddings, funerals and special events. Unless other arrangements have been made, please ensure you leave rooms as you find them and equipment cleared away ready for the next group. Thank you. |

If you want to serve the Lord in serving others in the activities at RIV church, please see our roster organiser, Elaine MacDonald, on Sunday morning or phone the Riv Church Office on 9361 9275. You can indicate which areas you would feel comfortable in to make yourself available for the next roster. You will be given guidance and training to serve in areas unfamiliar to you. You will discover that there is far more enjoyment in giving than receiving. And you will truly feel part of the family here at RIV.
