Riv MOPS - Mothers Of PreSchoolers 

The MOPS group is lead BY mothers of pre-schoolers FOR mothers of pre-school children (0-6 years) and meets for two hours on every second Tuesday during school terms. 

MOPS offers a caring, accepting atmosphere in which mums have an opportunity to develop friendships, share concerns, explore areas of creativity and benefit from teaching on a wide range of matters relevant to mothering.

 

The program consists of teaching, discussion, creative activity and refreshments with time for meaningful conversation.

 

Places are limited so make sure you register your interest and make contact with our MOPS Co-ordinator through the Riv church office.

MOPS provides time out for mothers while children attend their own separate MOPPETS program.  Children are lovingly cared for on the same premises, participating in planned activities suited to their skills and age group.

MOPS is a chartered organisation, with more then 100 groups now operating in all states of Australia.

 

All carers have Police clearances to work with children.

 

Costs for MOPS is $15 registration fee and $30 per term. If you would like more information about MOPS at Rivervale, please give us a call or email us at the Riv church office.
