Riv Youth

Rivervale Youth Ministry is a place where the youth of today can meet up with other young people and enjoy themselves in a safe and fun environment. We follow closely the rest of the church’s passion – “Doing life God’s way”. This is an essential part of this ministry. The biggest passion for us as leaders is; we want to see the youth grow into young adulthood, with their feet rock solid in Christ – thus equipping them for whatever life might bring in front of them.

Our main goal with the Youth Ministry is to work on ways to better mentor/disciple young people in our area so that through building strong relationship based programs, young people will find their identity in Christ. Building a solid foundation is essential for us all especially for young people with life’s pressures and the growing pressure to be somebody in today’s culture.

During the course of a year we run many different and varied activities together with the youth, in order to achieve a first contact point between the leaders and the youth. ...And yes occasionally some of us like to get a bit cheeky as some of the young ladies decided to with Morris's car recently!
